GUNS/RLTD BREAKING: UPS cancelling gun dealers’ accounts, destroying packages in transit

day late

money? whats that?
I wonder how or if this is going to affect me. I've mentioned before I'm restoring a 1936 Luger. As of now it does fire, but the extractor won't remove the spent casing from the chamber. The extractor spring is shot. I've got one on the way, and their people deal with restoring older weapons, not ghost guns. Maybe my order will get through. Sure hope so. I'll know by next weekend.

If it is insured they can find themselves in civil court with the insurance company and the manufacture over the matter.
I doubt it. I'm sure somewhere in the legal fine print it has something get around this. So no nothing to back on them.

I guess we will just have to start driving to pick up our orders.:shr:

Naming a company Ghost Guns was not smart to begin with and is like hanging a “kick me” sign around their neck.

The money UPS will lose from dropping this handful of customers is negligible in the grand scheme of things. Probably measured in hundredths of a percent in their revenue, a tiny rounding error.

If all the gun owners spoke as one and told the UPS they was done with their service due to this stupidity, You can bet someone in charge of UPS would take notice real fast. But I digress you can't get all gun owners to come together on anything any more.

How many times have I said that conservatives will need a complete separate REPUBLIC in order to THRIVE moving forward.

How many times have I said Conservatives can never give up The Left Coast to The Progressive invitations to Communism. To do so would ensure & eXpedite the largest logistical invasion ANY nation has ever experienced.

You cannot compromise with the enemy within without succumbing to the world.

It’s time for every American, from grey haired boardroom neocon’s, to mommies special gamer millennial, to look through the eyes of the enemy, and grow THU!

Sorry to say this, only a bit though. If elections matter, and the little medical Nazi has such a strong following, perhaps 2024 we’ll have our act together with a laser light read - punch card balloting system alongside a state & national voter I.D.

Until then. Stay very frosty.

Listen up...AND LISTEN WELL.

When you have to have licenses and bonds and insurance, and stocks issued by the gvt.

You do what they say, or they pull your existence from reality.

They control the whole damned system.

Financial, spiritual and soon...physical warfare against the citizens of our once fine republic.

Those in power do not represent me to the world, as they are reprobates and insane.

I think many people underestimate the power of regulation, especially in an environment where the Exec. branch is willing to ignore the Judicial branch, with the willing compliance of the Legislative.

Glad to see you don't.

I don't understand how UPS can get away with seizing and destroying property that is not theirs. It seems like theft.

It is. However, we just allowed an entire presidential election to be overtly stolen right in front of our faces less than two years ago. When that went unchallenged (for all practical purposes) it did nothing but emboldened the left to do even more overt thefts in other areas, as well.

Stop doing business with UPS. If someone wants to send something you've ordered via UPS, tell them that you do not do business with UPS and can no longer do business with the vendor due to this. I know that FedEx is a pain in the butt in their own way, same with USPS but the only way to make them hurt is to take away their profits. BofA took a hit when they lost a lot of customers who left after they stopped doing business with gun dealers, etc. They wound up having to close a bunch of branches around here due to customer loss. Start shopping local, or being willing to travel. His the gun shows and do your business direct.

It is call paybacks and unintended consequences.

Any company that sells anything linked to firearms needs to cut ties with any .gov that is hostile to the 2a

This has nothing to do with the company name. This YT video is the best description of the start of this to where we are today. Goes through how this came about and somewhat in effect as of now. Worth watching.

I don't think UPS is doing this on there own. They may be being coerced by a govt agency. I worked for Fedex ground for quite a few years. There was one time that I was asked to be a witness while the LEOs searched a trailer for contraband. They were opening random packages as they were unloaded from of the trailer. Didn't find what they were looking for but...that action caused a interruption in the flow..Fedex and UPS dont't like flow problems.

You are right, watch the video in my post #61.

This company is 15 minutes from me, I had this letter last week and mentioned it in a couple of posts here but did not mention the company name since it was not public yet.
This is way worse than the letter sent to the company.

I guess some states can ban UPS from doing business within their state. This is not something UPS,INC will just blow off as the lost revenue is substantial and will also effect the stock value.
I would think the states can invoke asset forfeiture of UPS assets in their states ( real estate, vehicles, all equipment, bank accounts, etc )

I did a little research, all over the place, and could not find where UPS or any of them can seize a package without some legal aspect involved, such as a LEO being there with probable cause, court order, search warrant, etc.

I have a sneaking suspicion that much of this about UPS has been made up. I mean, let's say someone is mailing a gun part, ghost gun, whatever. Will they actually have a huge sign on the package saying "This package contains ghost gun parts". No, I do not think so.

And if such parts are in fact illegal, and someone is so stupid as to tell UPS such an item is in a package, then UPS has to give the package to law enforcement. They just cannot seize and destroy any package they suspect is illegal, when in fact in may not be.

And some have said on this thread to just stop doing business with UPS. OK, so let's say we order something from ebay, or whatever. We have no choice in many of those cases who the seller uses to ship the product.

And that is my situation. I find the part I need and order it. I have no choice on how it is sent.

Assuming facts not in evidence. Just because someone doesn't want to 'out' themselves by public recognition and discussion of targets doesn't mean the post was ignored.
Not so sure "Outing" themselves is an issue anymore. Kind of a go to for those who think they are safe by not doing or saying anything.

Just being here they are "Outed" . Just being a gun owner, they are "Outed". Just being white and male they are "Outed".

It is a very low bar these days.

So not much of an assumption.

But you are probably right, that's the way most think .

This is becoming TRUE Fascism , the joining of Government and private companies.

First one must try using the structure long established to resolve differences, the courts. That failed. Next time, I’m betting that it will go kinetic. And there WILL be a next time

FedEx hasn’t touched firearms or parts for many years.

As a private vendor UPS is free to do business with whomever it pleases. Don't forget the "meeting of two minds" aspect of trade and commerce.

It would seem the UPS mind has changed.

I can see them "cutting off" shipments or deliveries to certain clients. This has been tested in the Gay Wedding Cake (even that went back & forth in State appeals before a Fed Court decision gave the right of refusal back to the bakery.) The Bakery IS free to do business with whomever it wishes - and cut off those it cares to.

Doubtless UPS is hinging its business argument on this decision.

"You deal in instruments of death - and as such we're cutting you off."

I can see packages which have "sender" information being intercepted - and most UPS does.

I can also see lawsuit and damages on "failed delivery" - after all UPS DID accept the package in the interval before their business model was changed. Now if the intercepted package is returned as "undeliverable" (for whatever reason) then UPS does have some defense in court - but that will be for the court to decide.

There will be other delivery services. At least until Uncle says transport of arms - any transport - is illegal.

An Executive Order from Joe should do it.

True fascism was accomplished here, absolutely, upon the creation of the FED and congress’ immediate full subjugation, thereto.

That day, the Original Compact Was Broken......but the people accepted the new terms.....until now, kind of.

We’ll see how many wake up and what they do about the steaming pile they find themselves in.
