Tyrannical New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced her ‘difficult decision’ to resign as on Friday. The news comes after a corruption watchdog announced it was looking into her conduct.
Berejiklian also made history for overseeing one of the most fascistic regimes in modern history like nothing we have witnessed in the Western world.
It was corruption charges that finally brought this tyrant down.
Apparently, the judicial system still works in Australia.

Good riddance, Gladys.
News.AU reported on her speech today:
“I have made it clear on numerous occasions that if any of my ministers were the subject of allegations being investigated by an integrity agency or law enforcement, then he or she should stand aside during the course of the investigation until their name was cleared,” she said.
“The reason for my stance was not to have made any presumptions, as to their conduct, but rather to maintain the integrity of the public office which has held, which that person is held whilst an investigation was completed, that same standard must always apply to me also as the premier however standing aside is not an option for me as the premier of New South Wales, the people of this state. The certainty as to who the leader is during the challenging times of the pandemic.
“Therefore, it pains me to announce that I have no option but to resign from the Office of Premier, my resignation will take effect as soon as the New South Wales Liberal Party can elect a new parliamentary leader in order to allow the new leader and government, a fresh start.”
“I love my job and I love serving the community, but I have been given no option. Following the statement that’s been issued today, to continue as Premier would disrupt the state government during a time when our entire attention should be focused on the challenges confronting NSW,” she added.

The events that led to Gladys Berejiklian’s resignation

Gladys Berejiklian has resigned as NSW Premier and will exit Parliament following revelations the state’s corruption watchdog would investigate whether she breached public trust or encouraged corrupt conduct during her secret relationship with disgraced former Wagga Wagga MP Daryl Maguire.

When was their relationship revealed?
Ms Berejiklian’s relationship with Mr Maguire was a tightly held secret until she appeared before an Independent Commission Against Corruption inquiry in October 2020 and revealed she had been in a “close personal relationship” with him for a number of years.
The inquiry was set up to investigate Mr Maguire, who allegedly used his position in Parliament to further his business dealings.

It heard taped phone calls between the pair during their five-year secret relationship, with the inquiry told it began in 2014 or 2015 and continued even after Ms Berejiklian had asked for Mr Maguire’s resignation in 2018.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced she will resign as Premier of NSW and from NSW Parliament.
The inquiry also heard revelations that Ms Berejiklian knew Mr Maguire was receiving commissions for brokering property deals as far back as 2014.
At the time, Ms Berejiklian said she was living a “personal nightmare” since discovering Mr Maguire’s alleged misconduct.
She said revealing the relationship at the inquiry had been “one of the most difficult days of my life”.

“I’m an extremely private person and, without question, I stuffed up in my personal life,” Ms Berejiklian said in October.
Earlier this year, ICAC confirmed it would extend Operation Keppel, which was set up to investigate Mr Maguire.

Why is Berejiklian now being investigated?
On Friday morning, ICAC revealed it was investigating whether Ms Berejiklian breached public trust or encouraged corrupt conduct during her secret relationship with Mr Maguire.

Grants to two Wagga Wagga organisations, in Mr Maguire’s electorate, are the subject of part of the investigations: funding promised or awarded to the Australian Clay Target Association Inc in 2016/2017; and grant funding promised and/or awarded to the Riverina Conservatorium of Music in 2018.
The ICAC is currently investigating the 2017 $5.5 million grant given to the Australian Clay Target Association in Wagga Wagga for its clubhouse while Ms Berejiklian was Treasurer. Mr Maguire is accused of later trying to profit from the fit-out of the club’s new headquarters.

The Premier has previously maintained that she followed all proper processes.
In February, a NSW parliamentary committee heard Gladys Berejiklian personally approved $20 million in funds for a Wagga Wagga music conservatorium while she was in a secret relationship with Mr Maguire.

Ms Berejiklian has insisted she did not approve the funds despite written confirmation of funding for the project being sent on her letterhead.
The conservatorium has been controversial because it received more funding than all other regional conservatoria combined.
The ICAC inquiry will also examine whether Ms Berejiklian engaged in conduct that “constituted or involved the dishonest or partial exercise of any of her official functions and/or a breach of public trust” by failing to report any actions of Mr Maguire to the ICAC.
What happens now?
Ms Berejiklian announced she will not only quit as Premier but also leave Parliament, triggering a byelection in her seat of Willoughby.

“I cannot predict how long it will take the ICAC to complete this investigation, let alone deliver a report, in circumstances where I was first called to give evidence at a public hearing nearly 12 months ago,” she said on Friday.
“Therefore, it pains me to announce that I have no option but to resign the office of Premier. My resignation will take effect as soon as the NSW Liberal Party can elect a new parliamentary leader.”

A new leader will be chosen next week with NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet and Planning Minister Rob Stokes favourites to replace her.
Public hearings investigating the allegations against Ms Berejiklian will be held from 10am on October 18.

It is expected that the inquiry will continue for about 10 days.
A witness list for the first week of the public inquiry will be published closer to the start of the proceedings.

But wait, there's more, no how much would you pay.

Former Australian Member of Parliament Says Pfizer and AstraZeneca Paid Lobbyists to Direct Australia's Leaders to Push Vaccine Mandates (VIDEO)

Clive Palmer

A former Australian member of Parliament came out and said Pfizer and AstraZeneca are paying lobbyists to direct Australia’s leaders to push vaccine mandates.

Clive Palmer, leader of the United Australia Party claimed ousted New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian was told she wouldn’t be charged in a corruption probe if she imposed a vaccine mandate.

Palmer made these statements a couple weeks ago but it has garnered a lot of attention this weekend after Berejiklian resigned in disgrace following a corruption probe.

Two weeks ago, Palmer said Pfizer and AstraZeneca were paying lobbyists tens of millions of dollars to direct Australia’s liberal leaders to push the double jab.

According to Palmer, Berejiklian, who was under a corruption probe by the ICAC at the time, was told if she imposed strict lockdowns and vaccine mandates, she wouldn’t be charged.

Shortly before Berejiklian resigned, she told Sydney residents that if they don’t take the Covid jab, they face total social isolation indefinitely after the stay-at-home order ends in December.

Berejiklian made history for overseeing one of the most fascistic regimes in modern history like nothing we have witnessed in the Western world.

It appears she was bowing to Big Pharma lobbyists and special interest groups once again proving Covid mandates have NOTHING to do with science or saving lives.

Clive Palmer told reporters of Berejiklian: “The only way she gets out of the inquiry is if she pushes the double jab.”

A lefty reporter pushed back on Clive Palmer: “You think the premier of New South Wales is trying to destroy businesses?”

“I do,” Palmer replied. “She’s being directed by lobbyists in Sydney, who is being paid by AstraZeneca and by Pfizer tens of millions of dollars to get these policies through, to make sure the vaccines get pushed…that’s my personal knowledge and I’m happy to make a statement here, to police, to anyone.”

Gates isn't invested as an individual but rather through the foundation....

4 Coronavirus Vaccine Stocks the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Is Betting On
Keith Speights

8-11 minutes

Are any of these stocks good bets for other investors?
large.ashx

No one has to tell Bill Gates to put his money where his mouth is. The billionaire Microsoft cofounder and his wife Melinda have been vocal proponents of fighting infectious diseases for decades. They've donated over $45 billion to charitable organizations since 1994, with much of that amount going to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The Gates Foundation has been instrumental this year in funding coronavirus vaccine programs. But the foundation hasn't just handed money over to drugmakers; it's also invested in a few of them. Here are four coronavirus vaccine stocks that the Gates Foundation is betting on.
Gloved hand holding a vaccine vial and syringe with scientists, a microscope, and test tubes in the background.

Pfizer

Bill Gates recently stated that he views Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) as the leader in the coronavirus vaccine race. In a CNBC interview, he said, "The only vaccine that, if everything went perfectly, might seek the emergency use license by the end of October, would be Pfizer."

The Gates Foundation also owns shares of the big drugmaker. However, this investment wasn't initiated because of Pfizer's coronavirus program. Actually, the foundation first bought a stake in Pfizer back in 2002 with the stated intention of "expand[ing] access to the pharmaceutical company's all-in-one injectable contraceptive, Sayana Press, giving women in the developing world an affordable option."

Gates is probably correct in assessing Pfizer as the coronavirus vaccine leader. The company expects to report initial results next month from a late-stage study of BNT162b2, the COVID-19 vaccine candidate that it's developing with BioNTech (NASDAQ:BNTX). If all goes well, BNT162b2 could very well become the first coronavirus vaccine available to Americans.

BioNTech

It's not surprising that the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation also owns shares of BioNTech. Again, though, the nonprofit foundation didn't invest in the German biotech stock because of its coronavirus program.

The Gates Foundation first bought a position in BioNTech in September 2019, well before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. It invested $55 million in the biotech, with the potential for total funding to reach $100 million. The foundation's goal with this investment was to work with BioNTech to develop vaccines and immunotherapies for preventing HIV and tuberculosis (TB) infection.

BioNTech began developing its BNT162 COVID-19 vaccine program earlier this year. It had already made significant progress with this program when it announced a partnership with Pfizer in March.

CureVac

BioNTech wasn't the first German biotech to attract the attention of the Gates Foundation. In 2015, the foundation committed to investing $52 million in CureVac (NASDAQ:CVAC). In addition, the Gates Foundation agreed to provide separate funding for several projects to develop vaccines based on CureVac's messenger RNA (mRNA) platform.

CureVac listed its shares on the Nasdaq stock exchange in August 2020. The company is currently evaluating its mRNA COVID-19 vaccine in early stage clinical studies.

Vir Biotechnology

The Gates Foundation was one of the lead investors in Vir Biotechnology (NASDAQ:VIR) at the biotech's launch in late 2016 and early 2017. The foundation's goal with its position in Vir was to "support the development of affordable and accessible HIV and TB prophylactic vaccine programs, and support the development of a new partner in the infectious disease space."

Vir's pipeline now includes several coronavirus-focused programs. The company recently began a phase 2/3 clinical study with its partner, GlaxoSmithKline, evaluating an antibody therapy targeting COVID-19. Vir expects to initiate a phase 2 study of another COVID-19 antibody therapy, VIR-7832, later this year. VIR-7832 could potentially be used to treat COVID-19 and as a vaccine to prevent infection. In addition, the biotech is conducting preclinical studies of an inhaled therapy targeting COVID-19.

Best bets?
All four of these coronavirus vaccine stocks owned by the Gates Foundation could be winners over the long term. However, my view is that the best bets for investors among the group are Pfizer and BioNTech. The two companies are farther along in clinical testing with their coronavirus vaccine program than CureVac and Vir.

For investors who are more risk-averse, Pfizer is the best pick. Though a COVID-19 vaccine could certainly boost Pfizer's fortunes, the big drugmaker's future success doesn't depend on it.

You're quoting CLIVE PALMER as a source??!? That fat monkey has been laughed out of every election he's ever stood in. He's in it for HIM and his mining business and is widely known to be a loon who doesn't care about the average Aussie. You need better quoting material if you're going to make any sense.

I think this relationship was known. They had to wait until her damage was permanent and then used the facts to remove her. But I think they had to remove her quickly once the police more or less starting getting owned royally and consistently in protests. Once the police lose out, order is out the window. They can not risk that...

Actually the USA already has a Civilian National Security force and its been around since shortly after the Revolutionary War. It's just not funded by the Government. It's called the Militia.

The Militia Acts have been amended over the years to include Jews and others groups initially excluded by the PTB. With the Equal Rights Movement it may now apply to women. Ain't equality grand? As far as I know its still law. Bet some liberal Academics will not be happy to learn this?

See Militia Acts of 1792.
