Parents shouldn't drop their kids off at an upcoming event billed on social media as the "BHam City Walk Takeover" on Saturday, according to the Birmingham Police Department.

A spokesperson for the Birmingham Police Department said they're "aware of the flyer for an unauthorized event circulating on social media."

We do not condone this event or the violence that is alluded to on the flyer. We need parents to help us by not dropping their kids off at the listed location or any other location unattended without your supervision. Parents, we need your help to assist us in keeping your kids safe along with our community members. Officers will be ready to respond to any location for the safety of anyone," the spokesperson said.

4 juveniles arrested after altercation in Madison

Police were initially called to the scene to respond to a report of shots being fired.

MADISON, Ala. (WAFF) - Four juveniles are in custody after a brawl at the Insanity Skate Park in Madison Saturday night.

Police were initially called to the scene to respond to a report of shots being fired around 9:30 p.m. Officers from Madison PD, Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Huntsville Police, and Triana Police were all on the scene. Police and emergency responders could not find a gunshot victim but did find about 200 people in the parking lot.

Four juveniles were arrested and will be charged with disorderly conduct as police continue to piece together what happened. Police also expect more charges to be filed.

This incident comes just two weeks after two teens were shot in the parking lot at Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville.

When the BLM organized a "Rally" in mt small town, all of the downtown businesses were full of their friends with more firepower than the national guard. I was with a group of eight or nine who went between a buddies jewelry store and a block of three businesses owned by a lawyer and his wife, a very 2A judge who I personally sold 5 AR's to.

Our group had retired DEA, former SWAT, one SEAL etc... Everyone was a former something.

The weapons that appeared out of large duffle bags surprised even me. We were not the only group there to defend friends businesses. I had a hand held 2 meter radio and passed them out to the group and gave one to my son, an on duty police detective so we could coordinate our efforts with LEOs if needed.

Our group alone could have eliminated the entire bunch of them had the need arisen.

The try that in a small town theme was real that day.

FAFO should be the way it is from now on.
