Yeah. The alert on my phone actually went off well before it hit here in Tracy. Long roller. On the USGS site it's reporting it as a 4.8. They're also reporting another one that happened a couple of minutes apart in the Sierra's that's the same size.....

Epicenter for the west side quake is Farmington. They are getting aftershocks still in the Sierras in the 3s.

My SIL called to check on me. He said he barely felt it in Roseville, so the Sacto. info is likely regional. He said Modesto may have the damage. Epicenter was between here and there. I think he is talking about the lesser Farmington one.

With the size of the first on, I'm starting to wonder if the Sierra one shook loose the Farmington quake or if Farmington was actually a refection of the Sierra one. The aftershocks up in the Sierra's are still coming and they're very frequent and not small..

ETA: Jward's update clears that idea up.

No damage in Modesto unless you had tipsy stuff.
