If peter doocy is a "stupid son of a bitch" then what is hunter biden? Hunter's been seen on a laptop doing drugs and having sex with what appeared to be an underage girl. Compared to that, doocy is a MENSA genius.

These are valuable insights as they're the only moments of truth (actually what passes as truth from the shallow depth of his demented mind) whereby we observe his real nature, beliefs and sorta-kinda thoughts. When he thinks he's covered, these little nuggets slip out and his real character is exposed.

As the old football coach said to his players when it was obvious they were going to lose, "When you lose one, you have the choice of showing your class or showing your ass. I expect you young men to show your class".

Just had a thought. My dad got very paranoid in his late stage of alcoholic dementia. He would keep the curtains pulled all the time. He would check the alarms numerous times before turning in for the night. He would demand that all doors be armed, even when we were all in the house during the day. He would leave his gun on the kitchen table in front of him at all times, even during the day. He would be watching all the cars going by the house all day long. Etc...

I wonder if Biden staying in the basement; the fencing around the capital, and the wall around the water feature is part of
of dementia induced paranoia?

Naw, he's probably just an evil SOB who thinks everyone is out to get him, because he completely deserves it.

I think the cognitive decline is exactly what this is, I mean I'm not a doctor but Nightwolf thought so a year ago and he also noted he seemed to have the "combative kind, which thankfully most people don't, but when they do it can be extremely difficult."

Anyone who has had a family member or worked/volunteered in nursing homes long enough to watch people through the process knows that at some point, the person starts to be unable to control their usual mental filters. This happens to almost everyone with actual dementia at some point in the process, though not everyone gets nasty - but it is common to just blurt out anything. Especially the sort of things we normally keep private (like "my butts been wiped."

If he is becoming as angry, paranoid, and unable to self-censor anymore (which we all do by the age of five or six to some degree); then his handlers will have to do something and fast. I don't think they can just get away with "doubles" or "virtual Joe" during this crisis, too many allied and world leaders will be wanting/needing to talk to the US President and things will not go well.

Gaffs like the "Just a Little bit of Ukraine" may have just started WWIII or at least a really bad-bad few months and the likely loss of Ukraine being in the Western Sphere of influence. At some point, congress is going to try to 25th him if his handlers don't talk him into resigning or request he take a "little trip" to military hospital they take the President's too for a "cognitive test" that is then made public.

I don't want President Kamala either, but at least her mistakes and potential gaffs will be made by someone who supposedly is mentally compitant - which isn't the same thing as being qualified to be President of the United States.

He has disdain and hate for this country. China Joe is in our face getting away with all kinds of stuff that would lock up or “really” impeach any other president. The fact he laughed and bragged about his quid pro quo as Vice President should have disqualified him as a president hopeful.

If you've lived with/been caregiver/watched the progression of Alzheimer's/dementia first hand, these behaviors are all too familiar. It's unpredictable whether people will turn mean, or become passive as their inhibitions fade and the holes start to outnumber the grey matter in their Swiss Cheese brains. Seems like, old Joe is one who is gonna turn mean(er).

That's what happened with both my Mom, and her brother. As the Alzheimer's progressed they both got progressively violent, until they needed 24/7 monitoring, which wasn't possible at home. Verbal abuse is the beginning, and manageable, (if you can remain calm and sane, taking it), but after I woke up from utter exhaustion/lack of sleep one night to have my night-wandering, schedule-flipped mother trying to stick a butcher knife between my ribs, it was off to the (very good) memory care unit, where they could closely monitor the meds, keep the doors locked, and watch her like a hawk all hours of the day and night.

Anyway....Old Joe is well down the road.

He was classic Alzheimers the two or so years before kicking into his election campaign.

:lol: Ya, well..so were my mom and my uncle, but they had the where-with-all for most of their lives to keep the worst of it contained (mostly to verbal abuse of those close to them) until the Alzheimer's blew up any social/moral inhibitions.
After that, it was pure reptile brain. Breath in. Breath out. Strike out. Rinse and repeat.

Don't think he cares about his wife, as she is just the paid-for caregiver, and his son (the smartest man he knows) "earned" his through Joe's contacts.

When is enough money, enough? It is not like he is creating a Kennedy-type dynasty with his useless son. Maybe the dead son Beau was to be the family heritage.

A lot of headlines this morning characterizing it as a "hot mic". I'm not sure that's what it was. The event had been ongoing and looked to be ending, but this didn't look to me like an "oops, my mic is on and I didn't realize it" moment.
