He was on Colbert last night getting his CBS-uptick for his run for Gov. of Texas and I watched to see what Marxist flag he'd wave; he has several.

He gave out the usual socialist platitudes and then launched on Abbott recently signing Constitutional Carry into law. According to Beto the Bitch this means wife beaters, child abusers and any convicted of violent crime are now free to roam the highways & byways of Texas, freely carrying firearms with impunity from the law.

I don't and never have lived in TX although it was close once so I'm counting on our TX-based membership to correct me if I'm wrong.

As I understand it, any sort of possession &/or carry is based on not being a member of a prohibited group (felon, under psych care, etc etc) and being a legal resident of the state. There is not going to be a rush of 'gun carry tourists' from NJ or CA looking for long neckers & a place to pack heat they probably can't in their home state.

To hear him tell it, anyone who has a firearm, legally or otherwise, can carry it anywhere they like in TX except the usual forbidden ares (Polling places, govt. buildings, schools etc)

We are hearing the same crap from Abrimson or whatever her name is. Now that we are constitutional carry, everyone and anyone is carrying. Even felons

I live in Texas. 6th generation. I don’t listen to Beto because he has never told the truth and will never be governor. That thing would rather climb a tree and tell a lie than stand on the ground and tell the truth. Just do a search for Texas gun law and educate yourself.

Just don't call anyone at the Southern border of Mexico and beyond that. In the Texas Southern border areas, you'd get a 'dirty look'. But the further south you go, the closer you are to dying for it.

I apologize for the 'foul language' definition of the Spanish word. I felt you *all* need to know the 'bad' side of the word so you will be (very) careful should you decide to actually use it. Tone of voice is the real 'identifier' of its meaning. Said in a laughing, joking way...they may laugh with you. Said in an angry, mean way, they may try to kill you.

I lived and worked among them all (migrant farm workers) for about 5 years on a farm in South Florida. So I have my 'Spanish slang' learned 'boots on the ground' style.

Caplock, thank you for the real definition. When I was about 11 I called a neighbor boy a pendejo. I had heard him calling his brother a pendejo so I called him pendejo in return. He went flying into his mom, who was mexican, and told her what I called him. His mom marched over to our house to let my mom know that I had called her son a filthy word.

I got in trouble for calling him a name but I never really knew what it meant. I don't think my mom did either. 58 years later, all is revealed HA!
