I have been doing a bit of research on the PH factor in the body. I tend to beleive that I am highly (or at least unhealthily) acidic. I read on another thread you recommended Spirulina, chlorella and wheat grass to normalize the body.

Which do you recommend or should a person be taking all of them?

Also, what do you do with them? Make a tea, eat as powder over something, or just add water? I am very interested! Thanks!

Japan has the best chlorella and Hawaii has the best spirulina. I buy bulk and pack my own capsules along with bee pollen and white american gensing. Really good spirulina can be up to 40.00 a pound and are three times that when bought premade. I do a half and half spirulina/chlorella combination. We use the 1 ought capsule and each take 6 a day. 3 am and 3 pm. I have noticed that the constant itching from thyroid disease is calmed down with this mixture. Algeas also boost the immune sytem as they are a whole food. Full of minerals and chlorophyll.

There is a book out called Chlorella: To Health, Vitality and Longevity by Dr. Mark Drucker. Pretty good book. I still have 10 books and hand them out to people who might benifit from the algea group.

The algea group along with calcium are the best buffers against acidic bodies.

THanks, herbie. Crap, I just bought a lb of the wheat grass powder. My luck, huh? And yes, the spirulina they offered was about forty dollars for a pound. Guess I"ll just use the wheat grass and then go to the spirulina.

So, I guess I pack the wheat grass in capsules? Is that hard to do, and where do you buy capsules? Guess I'lll look around!

I just found a capsule machine and gel capsules at wonderlabs for 15 bucks and 9 bucks respectively. Looks pretty easy to do. Is that in the ball park for a machine that does what its supposed to?
