Tonight or early tomorrow morning we will see who wins the Iowa caucus'. As I stated before, I hope Trump DOESN'T WIN IOWA. http://www.timebomb2000.com/vb/show...Think-I-Want-Trump-To-Win-Iowa&highlight=iowa

If Iowa stays true to form, they will hopefully pick an evangelical they seem to deem the purest, who will either go on to become a Fox news contributor or just go away.

Going back to 1976, the Iowa GOP has hosted seven competitive presidential caucuses: 1976, 1980, 1988, 1996, 2000, 2008, and 2012. They picked the next president once, in 2000, making them a whopping 1-for-7.

Iowa Republicans are not even particularly adept at selecting the eventual Republican nominee when the race is competitive. They got it wrong in 1980 (Iowa Republicans wanted George H. W. Bush, not Ronald Reagan). They got it wrong in 1988 (they wanted Bob Dole, not George H. W. Bush). They got it wrong in 2008 (they wanted Mike Huckabee). And they got it wrong again in 2012 (Rick Santorum won by a hair over Mitt Romney).

So to recap: Iowa has voted for a Republican presidential nominee in November exactly once in the last 30 years (in 2004), and Iowa Republicans have nominated the next president exactly once in the last 30 years (in 2000). This is not exactly the kind of batting average you expect from your leadoff hitter.

Trump Leads Cruz by 9 Points in Iowa on the Eve of the Caucuses – 34-25%

In approximately 12 and a half hours, the Iowa caucuses will begin in earnest. Right now, it appears as though Donald Trump is going to do quite well in the Hawkeye State, as he currently leads Ted Cruz by 9 points. 34-25%

Unlike the Democratic caucus, the rules are much simpler for delegates on the Republican side. There are no viability thresholds and the process is much more straightforward. If you get a little more than 3.7% of the statewide vote, you will be walking away with at least 1 delegate.

How the undecideds caucus could make or break one of the lower tier candidates, or it could add a delegate to any of the front runners.

Trump holds the lead among all demographics except those making under $10,000 a year, and Hispanics, which are both led by Cruz.

Keep an eye out for the Delegate Predictions feature which will be coming out later tonight. The final simulations still need to run, and it should give us a pretty clear look regarding who will win Iowa tomorrow.

Results:
Donald Trump – 34%
Ted Cruz – 25%
Marco Rubio – 14%
Ben Carson – 7%
Jeb Bush – 5%
Rand Paul – 3%
John Kasich – 3%
Chris Christie – 1%
Carly Fiorina – 1%
Other – 2%

CNN predicting Ted Cruz winner of the Iowa Poll!

Yes Lord! Please, PLEASE let it be!

PLEASE let those numbers hold so Iowa will continue their 31 year losing streak of NOT picking a president so that Cruz can be yet another Iowa winner who goes on to gain no more ground in any other states that will either go on to become another Fox news contributor or just fade away. Please let the Iowa "winner voodoo" stay stuck on Cruz and avoid Donald Trump.

Please let Iowans once again have TRULY picked with their "whose the most Christian" guidelines in order that Trump may go on to win the election. Amen!
