…… Adding Pri-G to old Stabil Treated Gas

First, let me state I know we should have rotated the gas cans, but, these were in a small shed, which then became the catch all for everything. They were covered up with misc items. We were cleaning out the shed and "found" them again.

Okay, we have 4-5 gallon cans of gas treated with Sta-bil approx. 2+ years ago.

My questions are:
1. Can/should we still use the old gas (in our vehicles or riding lawn mower)
OR
2. Can/should we add Pri-G to the cans already treated with Sta-bil before use, then would it then be alright to use ?

As with alot of people, $ is tight and if we can salvage the old gas with Pri-G, it would be nice.

Add a little more stabil and run it.

I had gas in a generator for 10 years. Every uear i would run it for 20 or so minutes if we did not have any power outages and would just add more stabil and top it off.

This last year though, it started to run crappy so, i put a can of seafoam in it and ran until it was all burned up. Fresh gas now, with more stabil then it calls for seems to work well.

use it in the mower, NOT THE CAR! if you screw up a mower, and new carb, might be a hundred or so, screw up the car, and might run into thousands,

I have burned gas WAY older than that. I add 5 gallons at a time to a vehicle already 1/2 full of fresh gas.

I have never had trouble but I drive junk to start with...

Save the PRI-G for when you re-fill them. Jmho

if you have gas guzzlers with a carburetor and not something newer with fuel injection - it'd be much better >>> I'd be leary using 2 yr old gas - treated or not - in anything fuel-injected >>> you're in a penny foolish situation if you screw up the car

Use pr1g i have used it gas that has sat 2 years untreated. After adding pr1g and let it set for half hour it ran great. Prig and sea foam unbeatadle.
