Beautiful pup, beautiful face, and I love the name! I've been waiting for the right time in my life to get myself a pup like this. I've never been able to choose a dog myself, one that I wanted and that I knew I would bond with. It's time now......I'm retired, I have the time to devote to all the craziness that Dennis beautifully explains to us...lol......so I'm going to choose myself a GSP........a pup.......I want to raise my pup from a young age.......I've loved the stories that Dennis and the rest of you have shared about raising your pups, and I've certainly learned a lot! You've got a gorgeous pup there......enjoy!! I'm just thankful that I still have plenty of energy to devote to this project! lol

You’re lucky your kids pick out good names. I mean I have a cat name freaking Owen. Grrrr. So embarrassing at the vet. lol
The ONE thing I believe saved me raising my larger dogs and avoiding the whole chew thing was a gajillion toys. I learned this quite by accident after hitting a wild sale at a pet store going out of business. I bought so much stuff that it was crazy. I had intended to put it down a little at a time and rotate it like a normal person, but nope all in a heap. That first dog NEVER chewed a bloody thing that wasn’t hers.
Second larger dog I was unable to keep a toy for five minutes and she hates anything that lasts. I’m really glad that rug in the den was cheap. But she is the idiot who chews sticks (seems to be getting out of that stage thankfully) so if it’s not the perfect thing she will get a stick. Sigh. Our wee loves.

Both Hermione and Hairy were showered with toys. Hermione played nice, but Hairy was Destructor. No toy lasted more than 30 minutes. I often had to take them from him for awhile so they’d last. For both pups, my arms and hands were their favorite chew toy. Those needle sharp teeth were no fun.

I can't wait to see my grand pups in May!! Mercy is a 9 year old boxer and Odin is little over 2 y/o Husky. They have such different personalities just like you would think. Mercy is an old bitch and Odin is a goofy pup.

One of our Dogs is half GS and half Border Collie. He is good, beautiful, and smart.

If you tuck a t-shirt or pair of underwear (NOT clean... worn by you for at least a few hours) into the crate at night, it often will let you get a lot more sleep. She's adorable!

I’m pretty surprised at how quickly she finds the dirt and weeds to get all tangled up in her coat. Good to see it’s a normal thing!

Spoil 'em while you got 'em. Because the Memories you make are the sweetest things to take with you into old age. I believe that those Memories are the support structure for the Rainbow Bridge. We are literally making a Bridge back to those we love.

Puppy updates. Jupiter is doing great. We have a trainer coming to the house once a week. She knows her name and several other commands. The best part is she sticks to me like glue. I can go anywhere and she stays by my side, for the most part that is. She loves children and can’t help but get attention from kids.
