Misc A new book to read

I'm putting this in the prep forum because it would quickly get lost on the main.

Books are important, I'm sure many on TB will agree with that.

This book is called "Prey" by Michael Crichton. In a kinda sorta way it relates to the pandemic we have been living with for the last year. After I've read it I'll come back and write what I though about it.

My generous brother sent it to me along with a three book series by S. M Stirling. These books are science fiction. I've read the first one "Island in the Sea of Time". Its a time travel taking a community way back in time when things were primative but they community has the knowledge of today. I read the first one several years ago and really liked it, but never got around to reading the following two. Science fiction is not a genre I'm usually attracted to, but I did enjoy the first one.

Thanks, I'll check it out! I do like S.M. Stirling (and I AM a sci-fi fan), so will look at those as well. :)
he has another nine book series after this one about what happened to the rest of the world. but my brother didn't care for it. I'm gonna read the first one in that series to see how it goes.
