Misc 2022 Mid Term Elections

I wasn't sure which prefix to use, I didn't fine a Politics prefix. Feel free to share about your states elections, political ads, etc.

So we're off and running for 2022 with non-stop ads here in the great state of Iowa. And one guy, Michael Franken, is running his campaign partially based about statues... as in marble statues of various people, heroes, etc.

I kid you not. SMDH

And he's getting a LOT of traction because of his positions. Of course every other ad is a hit piece against Trump, his supporters, and conservatives in general, and the ads that don't include Trump are heavily anti-Grassley, blaming Grassley for climbing meat prices, etc.

He's also a strong supporter of CRT.

He's updated his postion to support not only a woman's right to choose, but also for marriage choice and equality. I'm not sure what marriage equality means since they don't elaborate in the commercial, other than this may be targeting muslim women who are less than equal when it comes to marriage choice and equality.

Mayra Flores For Congress

Texas congresswoman-elect, Mayra Flores, explains how she's the Democrats' "worst nightmare," as she's a woman immigrant of color, who wants to put her foot down on illegal immigration and reverse many Democratic policies. https://bit.ly/3zEo3Nv

Good question!

I'm noticing a huge uptick in the Republican Hispanic groups on facespy, of hispanics. Dominion is going to have to do some epic stealing come mid terms, the demoncrats are losing the hispanic vote.

I'm sure they've done lots of study regarding what went wrong, and what went right, and corrections have been made.

10's of thousands of ballots run through at 2 am? Kinda leaves a suspicious footprint.
Server Logs? Kinda leaves a suspicious footprint. (I expect that certain events may be programmed out of the logs next time)
Router Logs? Same as above.
Batch counts with the exact same R/D ratios across different races? Kinda leaves a suspicious footprint.
Batch tallies that get swapped from one report to the next? Kinda leaves a suspicious footprint.
2000+ mules carrying cell phones? Kinda leaves a suspicious footprint.

I expect those issues will be mitigated in some way.

Bulk adjudication? Hmmm, seems to have worked - seems suspicious but doesn't allow much analysis.
No Voter ID? Win (for them)
Stuffed Voter Rolls? Win (for them)
Dead Voting? Win (for them)
Source or Machine code proprietary and contractually off limits to investigation? Win (for them)
Judges who refuse to even consider the vote pool being tainted once tallied? Win (for them)

And so on...

They've had plenty of time to review and adapt. Of course, perhaps some other avenue of 'adjustments' has been identified and is being pursued...

Of course, perhaps I'm wrong and a corrupt, lying, plagiarizing Pol who could hardly muster 200 people to his 'rallies' really did garner 81million votes of actual living, breathing, registered to vote citizens of our Country; in which case I think the Hour is far later than I expected.

I lived in SK & AB most of my life. In Canada, everybody votes who shows up at a polling place but there's one simple little proviso: Govt. issued ID & suppot docs. If you have a DL, Prov ID or anything which requires vetting of the named person (Mil ID & support docs) and some thing like bank statements, utility bills etc showing name & address, you get added to the voter's list and cast your ballot.

Done deal.

But you have to prove you actually reside in that riding. I'm pretty sure such ballots are marked for review before 'counting' and AFAIK, all ballots are still manual; no voting machines. Any device hooked to the WWW can be hacked. If the question is important enough, its pretty much guaranteed.

This nonsense about letting unidentified unknowns a vote is well beyond stupid.

Not stupid. A way of getting power.

Stupid that it hasn't been stopped by the Citizens, of course. I guess we should have voted for secure elections.

No, wait a minute... :hmm:

Some black chick is running for an office in Connecticut and her platform is about how her mother was never able to vote because she couldn't get off of work to get an ID. The ad ran non-stop last night on local stations here in Iowa... yeah there's no agenda there, right. Anyway, she talks about her mom having to drive long hours to get to work. OC was like "so she was driving without a license"?

Citizenship and voting takes work/effort. If you don’t vote, you’re not participating and, in my mind, have no right to complain about anything.

There’s always something that gets in the way of life but if you actually want to improve you lit &/pr participate in the how the country (or your county) works, get off your ass and do the work.

Otherwise own up to being a Section 8 system user/welfare bum and STFU!!!

So Wesley Hunt was at the Iowa State Fair today, and was wondering what you Texans think of him?

And Larry Elder was there yesterday, had I known he was going be there I would have made a point of going since OC likes him a lot.
