This recipe is from a book called "Gradual Vegetarian" by Lisa Tracy
2 cups cooked lentils
1/2 cup finely diced sauteed nuts ans vegetables (carrots, onions, peppers, squash, etc
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp soy sauce
oatmeal
1 T oil
mash together the lentils and vegetables, stir in the egg and the soy sauce. Add enough uncooked oatmeal to hold it together so the mixture will hold together. Shape into patties and place them on waxed paper and chill for about 1/2 hour. Saute in oil on both sides until crisp.
Makes 4 patties.
