Are there really any democrats that want to work 40 hours a week, much less 50? Irregular hours and all the rest on top of it?

Why do I have a feeling they are going to have a tough time filling those positions and that turnover is going to be astronomical? LOL. Mall cops need not apply.

Depends on what the paycheck is, if the paycheck is decent, a lot of minorities will jump on it.

Maybe Indians (dot not feather) or other Asians. I don’t know of very many other minorities that would. It isn’t the paycheck, it is the hours and scheduling. I wonder if they’ll hire non-citizens.
You should see how many "non-Asian" minorities are getting up at 3 AM to deliver Amazon packages before going to their regular jobs.
It might open your eyes (in surprise).

"all income earned, both legal and illegal, has the potential of becoming involved in crimes which fall within the investigative jurisdiction of the IRS Criminal Investigation."

Sounds like this lets them expand their local jurisdiction at a state level - just one more way to target those who disagree with the federal powers that be. Folks on the wrong side of the political debate need to watch their p's and q's or they could end up in a bogus IRS investigation. Getting more and more like the gestapo every day.

The majority of our tenants are minorities of one flavor or another. That is over 150 units worth of people. I know what their work histories are since I do a yearly background check on all of them prior to lease renewal. No surprises. There will be incredibly high turnover.

And the other problem is that they’ll mostly be going after other minorities in their criminal investigations. There is simply no way that is not going to happen.

Now lets say they get a bunch of minorities in the positions and they don’t go after minorities for criminal enforcement. The optics of having a bunch of minorities raid nothing but white people are going to create so many problems that even IF it was legitimate, it would look anything but.

They are also going to have to have minimum education and training, as well as a background check. And I think if you work for the IRS this also includes a credit check and financial analysis.

It isn‘t going to be easy to fill those slots. It is going to be even harder to keep them filled.

You see your part of the elephant, I see mine.
Let's watch and see how this plays out.
I am putting my $$ on

1. Mainly blacks will be hired (even if they must drop some requirements)
2. Those blacks will focus on working class Whites. (and get away with it, as that is what they are being hired to do)

If the military can't find decent recruits without lowering the bar almost to the floor, why does IRS think they can do any better?

Obviously there will be some of that. Some of that is already in the system and I know that for a fact. And I’m not saying that the 80,000+ hires are not going to be problematical for law abiding citizens regardless of skin tone or ethnicity. I am saying that it won’t be quite as easy to hire that many as they think. I’m asking around and apparently they are going to require a minimum of one year of contiguous “specialized experience” in accounting or financial auditing. Seasonal work as a tax preparing might get you there, but those people don’t want 50+ hours a week with an irregular schedule.

They might be able to pull some from the current banking industry but since most banks are having the same hiring problems as everyone else with adding turnover I don’t think they’ll be able to pull too much from that industry.

They might be able to pull some new college grads, but they won’t be in the criminal division because of the experience requirements. Assuming of course who they could pull from would be able to pass the background checks due to social media issues.

The other problem is they’ll have to pull them so they move and live in whatever city these brand new employees will have to find housing in, etc. In the 90s some cities where the FBI field offices were, the agents qualified for entitlements because the cost outstripped their paycheck. And the .gov couldn‘t just make their paychecks bigger because of how federal employment works … a GS-5 is a GS-5 is a GS-5 and they all bring home the same paycheck and have to meet the same minimum level employment requirements.

So yeah, 80,000+ new IRS field agents or whatever they wind up being called … call ‘em jackbooted thugs or brown shirts or whatever … is bad. But smart people will use that gap of time to strategize. And there will be a gap of time before they are going to be able to hire that many.

That is the best (most hopeful) outlook I've seen yet.
Best we can hope for is that this is how it will play out.
I'm basing my outlook on how I have seen everything else devolve.

Owner says this morning...

"Ok, they come with a gun. All I can do is hand them a piece of paper. It may be a paper listed on the search warrant - but its still a piece of paper. And I expect an original for something I copied to attach to the 1040? An original for which they already have a copy on file directly from sources?"

Owner's right - everything they know about you is already on file and you can see it at your own personal IRS page.

Owner is ALWAYS sure to look at that page before filing a return - in case he missed something.

This years "ID-me" only delayed that process a little bit for Owner.

BLM and Antifa...

It is easy to hire a thug. It is going to be more challenging to make sure those thugs have the min experience in finances to actually do the job. Not to mention the turnover issue. Remember, a lot of those BLM and Antifa turds are more about chaos and anarchy than they are about holding down a job. They say one thing, they behave a different way.

Bwahahaha, if it wasn’t so serious I will laugh my head off when IRS HR starts having a rash of exploding heads when they get handed the kind of job candidates I have a feeling they are looking at.

The requirements they announce, minus the requirements they waiver for their state of emergency, might end up with a hiring pool not quite as sophisticated as you perhaps have in mind.

Quiet Man

Nothing unreal exists
Just think of them as a new armed military force that is being brought into existence to protect the interests of the established communist/WEF party. They will be used in any way 'the party' sees fit. Enemies will be dealt with. Timed well in advance of 2024 elections. There can be no doubt after what we just saw in Mar-a-lago.

The communists will do absolutely everything they can to stay in power indefinitely.

Never give up your guns.

ETA: Remember, they can print all the money they need. They don't need the IRS to get it from you. IRS collections are simply used to pay the interest on the debt. That's not what this is about. This is an act of tyranny.

If it really is about getting rid of us, they don't give two hoots in a holler how much "experience" their thugs have. Letting that in your door may be unwise.

It is neither hopeful or anything else, it is factual. For transparency my husband was in commercial banking for 17 years in loan analysis. Our business is over 25 years old. And one of my uncles was an IRS agent in the 60s and 70s. I know how things were and I know how things have changed but some of the issues have always been there and will never change And you just have to learn to live with them and deal with that reality.

They’ll find their stooges but it won’t be tomorrow. In fact it will take months just to get each new one trained so they can actually do the job they are hired for and so they don’t make the IRS and Feebs look even worse than they already do. Some of the earliest cases will probably be held up in court or make it into the news and the optics are going to look really bad.

Assuming … always assuming … the Republicans get back in office I really don’t see them turning that tap off. It might be interesting to contemplate if the targets will change since all of this is nothing but political claptrap directed at the American citizen to subdue them into being nothing but a cog in the money press.

It depends on if they use the same government qualified pay scale used by all other government hires. And if they don’t I can see other government employees having something to say about it.

A GS-5 makes a salary of $31,000 to $41,000 per year. That’s salaried. They don’t get paid by the hour. And to reach GS-5 you have to have a minimum of a AA or AS. Then there are the job specific requirements.

They may get some initial hires that they’ll show off … but the turnover is going to be pretty dramatic. The IRS already had an attrition rate of nearly 20% and they‘ve failed to meet hiring quotas several years running. Unlike the public sector, government is not free to simply say we can’t hire anyone at $10/hour so we are going to bump it up the $15/hour.
