Currently most polls are showing the Democrats are way behind and should result in record losses for them in the midterm elections. Just a shift of a few seats in the Senate would bring it under Republican control.
Admittedly there are always serious questions about the accuracy of polls. Many times they have been wrong or biased depending on who pays for them.
Yet the country is clearly in a bad position.
Typically in such a situation, "the rats would be abandoning the ship" in order to grab lush lobbying spots before it was too late to cash in.
I find it interesting that 82 year old Nancy Pelosi hasn't announced her retirement yet. Her husband's recent DUI arrest gave her a perfect excuse to "spend more time with her family."
Perhaps she knows something big is coming and that her office as Speaker of the House is secure?
An October Surprise would have to be unprecedented in size and scope for the Democrats to retain power.
They control the White House only because of a coup d'etat so they have access to all the mechanics of dirty tricks. You only have to watch "Two Thousand Mules" to understand some of the ways they defrauded the country.
Biden has implemented the disastrous policies of the Great Reset, ruining the economy and foreign policy.
One school of thought is that the Left realizes their days are numbered and are trying to ram through their plans while they can.
More cynical thinking is that the next election will again be stolen so they can proceed with their plans for a dystopian green world.
But I think this is getting close to the tipping point so the Left needs something truly huge to get enough people to go along with their vision.
Food shortages? Inflation? Supply chain disruptions? War? Executive orders to "postpone" election day? Dominion on overdrive? Or a black swan event nobody saw coming?
Whatever it's going to be it will have to be overwhelming. Either that or the two way rifle range is open for business.
Life will never be normal again.
My working assumption is that these criminals will never give up power voluntarily. If they did, they would be headed to long prison sentences.
