One of the comments at the video I linked above, definitely something to think about.
"I had a thought last night about this intergalactic current sheet and the intermittent dust field / thickening of the intergalactic medium. If our solar system is moving through this medium and into a more densely packed medium.. wouldn't some of the planets be on the forward side of the sun (entering the medium first) while some of the planets on the other side of the sun would enter the more dense medium after the sun has entered it? I was just trying to imagine it all, and with the immense distance between each heavenly body.. and started wondering if it's possible for the leading planets going into the current sheet and the sun could possibly be into the field before some of the planets on the other side. I also wondered if the sun will likely change color as we go deeper into this field, because of the particulate changing the way light reaches earth. Anyway, my thoughts for the morning.
