Do you know what wasn't covered by ABC, CBS, and NBC tonight? The Loudoun County School Board allegedly covering up the rape of a 14-year-old girl to pass a transgender bathroom policy:

And here's Scott Smith, the father of the victim, speaking to Laura Ingraham about going to the school board meeting, how he was misled by the prosecutor and told to keep quiet if he wanted justice, and his disgust with the DOJ calling him a "domestic terrorist."

He most assuredly did teach us to buy swords.

The problem, though, is He taught a lot of other things that sort of work against taking those swords into the midst of a government meeting and chopping off a lot more than a slave's ear.

It's likely the swords were meant for self-defense. Does pre-emptive self-defense qualify? We're much less sure.

In the 'Old Testament', it worked both ways. God sent His people into other countries to kill their enemies before they came to kill them. It's 'debatable' in the 'New Testament'...like you say. But here's the way I see it, "Don't go looking for trouble. But if trouble comes looking for you, make sure it won't come looking again". I believe there are 'examples' of 'preemptive actions' being taken in the New Testament, but I can't think of any right now.

Bare hands are better. More satisfaction. But, you have to know how to do it.

Since we are speaking in the hypothetical I've always thought flaying, beginning with the sex organs, would fit the crimes of a sexual predator.

See the term "sexual predator" doesn't single out anyone. It doesn't matter what your sexual preferences are or your race. "Sexual predator" covers all .

Speaking in hypothetical situations of course.

I can't either. God's days of calling for genocide stopped in the Old Testament as best as I can tell. While defensive action seems to be just fine--why else would we have swords?--it's the taking of said swords elsewhere that seems to be an issue. There aren't even that many examples of defensive actions in the New Testament. The disciples are constantly getting hauled off to jail. How many times did Paul spend locked up?

ANGELS
6 Bible Verses About Angels Providing Protection
Angels are watching over us.
By Megan Bailey

angelswithshepherds.jpg

God's angels are truly watching over us. He makes this point clear in Scriptures throughout the Bible. Read on for six Bible verses that remind us there are angels watching over you.
In this article:
  1. Psalm 91:11
  2. Luke 4:10
  3. Psalm 34:7
  4. Matthew 18:10
  5. Hebrews 1:14
  6. Exodus 23:20
As humans, we typically imagine God’s protection as a magical force field that keeps us from all harm. While God has the ability to stop evil, we have to remember that we live in a fallen world where we have free will. Because of this, sometimes God works in ways that we do not understand. Instead, God’s protection can come in the form of peace and strength in the middle of despair, possibly in the form of angels.

As believers in Jesus, we are promised a new life covered under the protection of God and His angels in which nothing can ever separate us from His love. We can rest easy knowing that no matter what hardship we face, God is our provider and protector. He sends down His angels to watch over us and protect us from the harm of the world. These angels can give us peace so we can focus on knowing there is a bigger plan that God has chosen us for.

Angels have been cited all throughout the bible for their amazing ability to protect those in harm. Here are words straight from the Book of God that remind us that we are protected by God’s angels.

Psalm 91:11
”For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.“
This translates literally to mean that God will instruct His angels to watch over individuals. God will give each of His angels a purpose: to guard His children. Those who are faithful will be under the constant care of His angels.

Luke 4:10
”For it is written, ‘He will command His angels concerning you to guard you carefully.’”
In this chapter of Luke, Satan challenged Jesus to throw Himself off the highest point of the temple by citing that God would protect Jesus with His angels. However when citing the Psalm 91:11 verse, Satan purposefully omitted “in all your ways” thus changing the meaning. The fact is that God sends His angels to protect those who have committed themselves to His loving care, not to those who want to put Him to the test.

Psalm 34:7
”The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.”
The angel of the Lord can mean any one of God’s angels. In this passage, it is noted that God would send His angels down to His true loyal children and rescue them from danger. His angels will lift us up and keep us from harm if we choose to trust in Him.

Matthew 18:10
"See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.”

Here, Jesus speaks of how God values each of His children. Because He loves each of us so much, God assigns angels to each of us for our protection. No matter who you are, how low you may feel in life, God doesn’t discriminate who gets angels to watch over them. Instead, He tells others to “not despise” one another. In addition, the angels have direct access to God and are a helpful communication liaison between heaven and earth.
Hebrews 1:14
“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”

Angels are sent by God to protect us so that we are able to inherit God’s kingdom in heaven. Angels are servants of God that carry out His will and work for our good. Here, we are given protection and shelter by the angels by their ability to assist us in our deliverance from sin and being gifted by eternal life in heaven.

Exodus 23:20
“See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.”
This is a great example of God showing how He can use His angels to protect His children. The Lord was promising the Israelites that they would be guided by an angel to the Promised Land of Canaan. The Israelites were protected during their journey through the wilderness because they trusted in God and His promises.

These bible verses serve as reminders that God’s angels will always watch over us. If we trust in God and His plan for us, we will be protected by His angels as we walk throughout life. Angels are a direct way for us to connect with the Lord, so we should accept their protection and trust in their abilities.

Double edged, cuts both ways.

Many of the locals I've spoken with don't like the school board and are looking to move out. Loudoun county went through explosive! growth; home building and sales are among the highest in the DC metro area.
And, many are not American "home-grown," rather, hailing from across the globe - lots of Indians (dot), Asians, Hispanics - and Americans - many seeking the material high-life that the FedGov/commercial IT job opportunities and employment can afford them.

Fairfax and adjacent Loudoun counties are HEAVILY involved in all things international/national security state internet/IT, with a very significant amount of the world's internet traffic passing directly through these two areas - LOTS of fiber nexus centers/crossover points, LOTS of large data centers/facilities/co-lo, IT and national security level expertise of all flavors and types, and all needing contractors/employees.

Recall that Ed Snowden was a Booz Allen Hamilton contractor to the NSA (nearby to Loudoun county/NoVa, in Maryland) when he began whistleblowing.

Just a bit of background to the economic and cultural "drivers" that make up Northern Virginia/Loudoun/Fairfax counties.

55 years ago, Loudoun county was nothing but rural farms - and next-door Fairfax county was JUST beginning its journey/evolvement from a sleepy suburb and farms, of a sleepy DC FedGov proper, to an economic and professional and economic powerhouse serving the nation, and the world.

Loudon county followed shortly, thereafter (circa ~1980), with a similar economic transitory path + mass migration of international professional tech folks to staff up the burgeoning IT economy - all seeking their fortunes/futures.

Loudoun county located Dulles Airport is directly on the county line with Fairfax County, serving as a vital high-volume international transportation/freight hub for both areas, and surrounding nearby Virginia, Maryland and West Virginian counties, and Washington, D.C.

People don't realize that there are actually 3 major parts of the Bible...the 'Old Testament', the 'New Testament'...and 'Revelations'. We are now living in that '3rd Part'. So study up a bit on that section and see what you can find. I'm not 'totally here' today...got some 'real life' things occupying my brain at the moment. Sorry.

Personally, I believe the 'nuclear' part of the next 'World at War' will be 'neutron' in nature.

It's been said the Chinese want America for it's farmland. Chinese have known for decades they could not feed
their people. First phase was buying up farms and food production companies... Like Smithfield. They chose to go with the disease route to kill and weaken the People here. Neutron Bombs will be reserved for major cities AND cities that host the seats of government across USA. That's my opinion.

And, if things continue as they are right now, that's my opinion, too. But notice the, 'World at War' thing instead of a 'World War'. I believe it may start off as a 'World War'...but will switch real quick into a 'World at War'. So...what's the difference? A 'World War' is when the countries around the world, basically, divide into 2 groups and go to war with each other. A 'World at War', in my mind, is when each country is fighting their closes 'neighbors'...individually. Sort of like France going to war with Spain, Germany, England and Italy; America going to war with Mexico and Canada. But mostly it'll be 'Secession Wars' within each and every country worldwide. It's the only way the 'world-killer' weapons won't be used.

WATCH: This Loudoun County, Virginia parent says school boards are using "communist tactics" to target concerned citizens.

"They are labeling parents and concerned citizens like me as 'domestic terrorists.'

What that can do? You may loose your freedom.

I do have a question ... what's next step?"

Is the Tiananmen Square crack down the next?

Would parents one day risk their lives just to speak out for the children?

Lots of ways to play this out legally also. Lawsuit against schoolboard for child endangerment. State RICO charges against school board for letting the raper back to commit another crime. Federal lawsuit also under RICO, another federal lawsuit against civil rights. Another federal lawsuit under title IX. another lawsuit under reverse discrimination. Another lawsuit for rape of a minor. Probably another lawsuit under Dept of education at state and federal level. Lawsuits galore. Also lawsuits against individual board members if they are bonded.
Sounds good. But where ar you going to find a court that will hear them?

Jesus to Peter "Get thee behind me Satan" We went from a time when the disciples were sent out into the world to a time of fulfilling Prophecy in the immediate future.

Zechariah 11:12–13 NRSV - I then said to them, “If it seems - Bible Gateway

Luke 22:37 For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in Me: 'And He was numbered with the transgressors.' For what is written about Me is reaching its fulfillment." (biblehub.com)

He evern told Peter his not to distant future.

Luke 22:34 But Jesus replied, "I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me." (biblehub.com)

As far as Revelations. His followers know what they signed up for. "To be as (comfortable) as I can as long as I can." To serve in anyway I can.

Ya know, your comment made me think...David taking out Goliath was just such an 'action'. By taking him out, David prevented a really big slaughter...of his own people. But...that's 'Old Testament'. Anybody have any 'New Testament' or 'Revelations' examples?

Just this and we will know it when we get there. But there is no fear there and probably no sword other than that connected with the armor of God. You got to put your faith in what you believe. If we had it we could move mountains.

John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (biblehub.com)

I showed I was willing to 'lay down my life for my friends' when I took up arms by joining the Army. I will not kneel down and just let them do whatever they want though. God didn't give me my 'sword' just so I could lay it at my enemy's feet. They'll have to take it...the hard way.

And although I haven't moved any mountains, my faith in God has changed the weather here. Going on about 7 years now, it hasn't rained during the time it takes me to drive to Church, sit through the Sunday service and to then drive home...except for 5 or 6 times. Right after I 'found' this Church, the squirrels got under the hood of my car and chewed up a lot of the wiring. I did the best I could to repair it, but it doesn't run near as good as before. When I discovered I couldn't trust it in the rain, I said to God, "If You want me to go to Church, please don't let it rain during the service time"...and He hasn't. In another thread here, I told how a tornado did nothing to me or my home as it did do 'things' to others around me. I did get to watch my mailbox sail off down the road though.

This case isn't going to be swept under the rug. Too many wealthy folks with kids in Loudoun county schools.
