Has No Life - Lives on TB
Okay. I'm looking for recipes that don't try to complete overwhelm the flavor of fish but instead bring it out and compliment it. I have bags of about a half dozen varieties, Swai, Pollock, Cod, Salmon, and I forget what else. And I swear every recipe uses lemon and butter. Or breading. And I'm already having to consume more carbs than I have in a long time. (Seems I wasn't eating enough carbs most days. Or consuming enough salt. Or enough fats. Geez.)
I have a cooking salt block and planks coming so I can try those. I have a smoker but it's not set up yet. (That's on the list for this weekend or next weekend.)
Shrimp and crab recipes (already out of shell) are welcome as well. The only thing completely off the menu is scallops. DS has a strong allergy to them. Oh, and raw fish is out.
Canned tuna and salmon recipes that avoid mayonnaise are also welcome. (Yeah, dairy is a problem.)
