I'm seriously wondering just when did we lose our collective minds?

When did we lose common sense, good manners, patience, humility, maturity, compassion, intelligence??

I feel like we actually are living on SNL's Bizarro World in real time. I can't watch the news:kk1: listen to a politician or anyone really because of the stupid Shiite spewing from their mouth these days.

When did we become so stupid? Just read the warning labels on products you buy and EVERYTHING has FRIGGEN warning labels on them these days. Why? Because people have become so stupid. They've lost their common sense. In fact common sense is soooo rare that is has become a SUPER POWER!

Tucker Carlson interviewed City Councilman Robert Stokes of Baltimore on the current conditions of the city. However, for some strange reason every time Tucker asked the councilman specific questions regarding the 2.3 Billion dollars given to the city, the councilman reverted to bring up 400 years of structural racism.

Now you know me, I am not one to sweep racism nor 400 years of the atrocities done to Black Americans under the bus. Nonetheless, we are talking about a specific incident of a specific point of time, of which the councilman and many of black leader resided over this money.

We have a serious corruption problem in Black America, at the highest levels of our government and it's shameful that in 2019, our black leaders will not have some integrity to do what's right for the people they were put in office to represent.

This is because for so many years, blacks have been told that they've been screwed by history, by whites, by circumstances, by society. Now they're realizing that the promises made are not going to be kept. So they are out to "get theirs" any way they can, no matter what. Issue is that too many aren't smart enough to actually get away with it and when caught, they scream "Racism".

And when did so many kids become allergic to peanuts??? Heck, growing up that's what ALL KIDS ate, PB&J!! That was the go to food for kids. Now there are public schools where you're not even allowed to bring a PB&J sandwich to school for lunch because there "might be" someone allergic to peanuts in the school. I'm not blaming the allergic kid. These types of allergies are no joke, but how did so many people in such a short time become so allergic to peanuts that it's a life and death issue?

I suspect that all these weird auto immune issues we see today is due to all the chemicals and additives and hormones and other CRAP that we're inundated with unknowingly everyday. And now we have to worry about ROUNDUP in all our foods (including our beer....the shame of it!) and the great GMO experiment we're being forced to partake in. Basically we're poisoning ourselves and all up coming generations until we figure this garbage out and stop trying to kill ourselves slowly.

Back in the beginning a few people created a lot of stuff we still use and rely on … language, cities, music, etc. But with each successive generations, genes get copied and "micromutations" occur. Eventually those micromutations add up and after roughly a whole dang lot of generations you are left with a world full of people that are more mutation than original man. That's not woo, that's science.

Enormous ancient edifices all over the World, not just Egypt...and we couldn't copy them now. Fast forward to Roman aqueducts then, European cathedrals. How did those people do that? Today's architecture students couldn't build a wheel-chair ramp w/o at least a calculator. We put up dams all over the world up until the 1960's, Eisenhower started the nationwide highway system; today, we can't even maintain the dams, nor the highways. At some point soon, the airlines will collapse - I'm surprised we have the brain power now to keep that transportation going, given the state of the passengers one sees using it. We've taken a steep dive in the last few decades.

Perhaps the Break-away Civilization is jetting around the planets, but WE aren't - I don't expect we'll even get to the Moon again.

BUT, Darwin used to play a part as well.
Only mutations that are advantageous or inert (or of minimal hindrance) should be propagated.
I think that one problem is that we have tried our best to remove Darwinism from selecting for better humans.

I think that as we have become a technological society with less personal connections that the "cycle of civilizations" has become more pronounced and has larger follow-on effects.
Small failures that once would have been a minor inconvenience are now "TEOTW."

In many areas of knowledge we seem to be entering dark age. People no longer seem to know basic of math history literature etc.. Yet they are very advanced in technical areas. Odd phenomenon to me..

1968 - 1969. Prior to that, I had to struggle to keep my grades up in college. Thing is, if I flunked out of college, I was draft bait. Most of you don't know what that means. Anyhow, I noticed that my last quarters in 1968 and 1968 suddenly were easier. The profs. younger and didn't seem to demand much of us academically. I was partying most of the last two quarters and managed to nail down 3.5's for each quarter! I took a commission after I graduated and still wound up in the Army and eventually Vietnam, but survived.

I did notice that there was something mentioned called environmentalism in an advanced history class and a couple others. By 1990 when I took a few computer classes, the prof. in language told the students they not to worry about failing. As long as he thought they were trying to learn the language (Pascal), they'd pass! I was stunned.

Then there was rap (not)music. That had to fry more brain cells than a laser.

Also, I agree with the person who said we took God out of our society. So sad. I remember quiet Sundays. No stores were open, no lawns getting cut, no hustle and bustle. Just go to church, come home and have a family dinner and relax. Okay, there was a ball game on the radio and later the TV.

The current craziness started with the indoctrination of young people into Marxist values in the late 1960s. The "counterculture" was all about throwing out American values and all respect for America. In its place, young people accepted the values of the left without even knowing they were being indoctrinated into socialist/communist values. The Democrats of today never figured out that the enemies of the country twisted their minds...or they were the enemies and were all for it.

I don't want to support anything that reeks of eugenics in any way shape or form, but there are a lot of people alive on our planet today that are only alive because they are protected from their own stupidity.....just saying.

I swear, I ask myself this at least once a day. I’m dead serious when I say that I’m shocked on a daily basis at how utterly stupid humanity has become. Maybe ignorant is the better word. A few great examples:

The other day we had company over, with the new girlfriend of a friend of my husband’s. Hubby pulled out a pocket knife to help open some plastic packaging she was trying to open. He closed it, asked her to set it on the table, and she shuddered, refusing and saying, “No way. Knives scare me.”

Today I was at the grocery store, and the young mother in front of me asked the cashier if she knew where a car wash was. She said that she and her family come up to vacation often, but she needed to get a car washed. I piped up and said, “Oh, there’s a great down about a mile south of here on 41.” (The grocery store was on 41, the only main highway that everything is on.) She looked at me dumbly and said, “Thanks, but since I obviously don’t know what direction south is, that doesn’t help me.” Mind you, the highway is literally the only main paved road, and it runs north and south for about 50 miles. But, understanding that some people might be directionally challenged, I said, “South is left. Just turn left when you leave.” Not joking... she replied, “Is that your left or my left?” The cashier snickered, and I just kinda stood there, not knowing how in the world to answer to that one.

Oh, I could be here all day telling you guys these gems!

I am constantly reminded and amazed by the stupidity of some individuals. Last Sunday, I was getting ready for church. I turned on my flat iron to do my hair and noticed this warning label on the cord. Seriously?!?! Is this a real issue?? Did someone actually try and curl their eyelashes with their flat iron??? Or has the company marketing the appliance decided to go proactive?

For me, the WTF moment was in the 1980's. I was in the Air Force and I read a column in USA Today about a woman who had sued McDonald's for not warning her that her coffee, that she ordered in the drive-thru, was hot and she scalded herself when she spilled it on her lap. The jury found in her favor and awarde her an obscene amount of money.

That was when the victimhood culture began in America and she is the reason hammers have warning stickers that advise the user that if they hit themselves in the head, they could be injured...

Vegan parents whose strict diet left baby 'severely malnourished' avoid jail

"An Australian couple, who fed their baby daughter a strict vegan diet resulting in severe malnourishment, have avoided jail time, according to CNN affiliate Seven News.

The mother and father, who are both in their 30s and who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to failing to provide necessities in life and causing injury to the child. The couple were sentenced to a 18-month jail term to be served as a community order.

Authorities discovered the couple's child so malnourished that at 19-months she weighed just 4.9 kilograms (10.8 pounds).
Further medical tests revealed that her bones had not developed since birth. Her development was so stunted she didn't even have any teeth, Seven News reported.

Her parents said they had kept the girl on a strict vegan diet. The child hadn't been vaccinated and hadn't received any medical care since birth, reported CNN affiliate Nine News.

The Sydney judge overseeing the case, Judge Sarah Huggett, called the child's vegan diet "completely inadequate" -- was only fed oats, bananas, peanut butter jelly sandwiches and rice, Seven News reported.

"This is not the case of an isolated act or omission or a momentary decision made in a pressured context, that led to a danger of serious injury to their child," Huggett said, according to Seven News.

"Neither offender was particularly young, immature, uneducated or inexperienced as a parent or caregiver to young children."

However, Hugget also said she believed the crime was committed out of recklessness rather than malice, and that the mother may have been dealing with a depressive mental illness at the time, Nine News reported.

On top of the community service, the parents must now complete parenting and nutrition programs.

The little girl, now aged three, has been placed under the care of a relative, and has reportedly made progress in her development. She has since been vaccinated, and is undergoing speech therapy and physiotherapy, according to Seven News."
