I truly feel this.
If my math is right. I should be able to slowly max out all of my credit cards over the next 27 or 28 weeks. That'll take me just past the doom event if it's a little longer than 6 mos.

Well, if nothing else, that's one way to pretty much ensure personal financial doom....

But OTOH if there were essential basics that I lacked such as storage food, a security tool or a way to purify water (or anything else life sustaining) I’d be willing to go into debt to procure those items while they are still available as it’s better to have and not need than need and not have. I do think it is that late in the game where you better get it while you can.
