Ever heard of the Glock Switch? No? Wait, you mean to tell me you’ve watched thousands of gun videos on YouTube and you’ve never heard of it? Well, could it be because none of the big gun channels on YouTube like TFB TV, Colion Noir, Sootch, et cetera ever cover it?

Hmm yeah that’s right, but only partly. That’s because if you think about it, there are no any anti gun liberal progressivist news channels here on YouTube that talk about it either. The silence is deafening. Why is it that both camps don’t seem to care about the Glock switch?

We discussed this here many months ago, if not over a year ago.

I commented at the time that it was a “thing” among the gangbangers here in STL. Local news did a special on it.

Conclusion was that yea, it pretty much turned the Glock into a machine pistol but it became so uncontrollable after the first 2-3 shots that it was basically just spraying bullets in non specific areas in front of you.

The chances of hitting who you were shooting at were less than hitting random people in the area.

At least the Beretta 93R had 3-shot burst or normal semi-auto options.

The only way these things would be of any practical utility would be to pair this "switch" with a "drop in" chassis frame which even with the gangbanger derigeur fashions makes concealability moot.

Turns a Glock pistol into a full-auto weapon! Street sweeper for black street gangs, it is for the most part a useless weapon as its use to spray bullets in a general direction and they do not care who gets shot or killed in the process.

Yeah. Machismo is the main driver for these things in the gangbanger sub-culture. If one of them were to show up with a scoped 10/22 he'd be called a wuss or worse by his compatriots in crime.

My wife just actually told me that in English.

I'll be back in 5, there are many reasons I bought a house with a gas station across the street and a liquor store a couple hunnert yards down the road.

Like:
It was available.
I could afford it.
It had most of the roof still on it.
The list goes on...

I have a real, registered Glock 18 at my shop. It has a selector switch on the side. I have not shot that POS in almost ten years. We bring it to machine gun shoots where we let people shoot it who make donations to pro gun candidates that the shoots are put on to support.

My favorite is the M249 but it sucks down a belt faster than a frog eating a fly. That thing is truly scary.

I fully support the hoodrats having switches... unless they are right up on you they will shoot high.. also greatly reduces the number of engagements they can perform before depletion of their ammo stock...

I believe that society will be imploding relatively soon... I also know that the local meth billies will have access to switched glocks

Get off the X, behind cover, count to 3, pie out and kill them....

There was a video of some gang members standing outside a bar in Puerto Rico one night. A surveillance camera caught it all as it went down. One car pulled up across the street, and another came into view going the other way. You see a guy stick a pistol out the window, and full auto sprays the four guys standing there 10 feet away. Three of them go down and never move. One gets up and walks out in the street, shooting at the car going away. The car across the street, then unloads on that guy full auto, and he runs back to the 3 dead guys and joins them in dieing. Then the shooters from the first car come running back on foot, and gives the dead guys a double tap to make sure. Can't believe it was on YouTube. I assume it was Glock switch equipped pistols.

I just watch the evening news on pretty much any channel in Memphis - the presence and clear evidence is on display almost every night.

Administrative Results put one on a Glock 44 (.22lr) for a video.
It would drop all rounds in a silhouette in no time...........

Even my binary trigger-equipped AR will empty a 30-rd mag in about 6 seconds. Faster if I was any good,

You got me on that one; I thought chingadera was a perfectly legitimate word. Chingador just sounds too oppressive.

Of course, I'm still sorting the widgets from the gizmos from the thing-a-ma-jigs.

When I installed binary triggers on my ARs, I had to dial them in (the kits came with various spring weights) until the actions worked smoothly. This involved shooting several mags as rapidly as possible. I have to admit that it was a lot of fun. Until I realized that I’d gone through 90 rds in about 15 seconds. I concluded that unless one were very well-to-do, one couldn’t afford to do that.

But it really was fun there for a minute. Or should I say for 15 seconds. ;)

If that Vegas shooter had used those triggers instead of bump stocks, the carnage would have been much worse.
